Whether you’re a Patriots fan or a Giants fan, or even if you don’t particularly care about football (gasp!), let’s be honest – It’s really the food that makes it a great party. Fortunately Superbowl party menus are no longer confined to chicken wings and pizza. Restaurants and caterers around the country are uping their game, so to speak, by offering more diverse menu choices. (Forget the 6 foot sub, how about a foot long sushi roll, or a whole pig roast instead of ribs). We are partial to the more traditional football fare on Superbowl Sunday but only when it’s perfectly prepared with deep flavors and less sodium and fat. Who says it has to be “junk” food? This year, Chef Antonio has a new Superbowl menu with some traditional favorites and a few new surprises.
